canvas 3 is done. its still needs some tweeking this one but it's alright for now till i go back to it. i'm going to leave text off this one i think for now until something inspires me.

and here we have my work den, canvas's building up everywhere. i'm going to have to start hanging them on my green wall when i have painted my wall green.

am going t work on a few new sketches and ideas in my notebook so watch this space in the next few days. i recalled just last night as i was scouting the internet, how much i love certain aborigine artwork so i'm going to work on that technique and see if i can have a play with it.

canvas project 2 done, now onto a request by my little girls....

i think it's time i started considering the messenger bees......only as an idea and the materials i will need...once the blog has more artwork on it, i will send out the messenger bees to spread the word...

getting there with canvas project two. i prefer the colouring in this one to the last one but the last one does need tidying up a bit which i will sort at some point. this little number materialised over about two and half hours last night....

i may well replace the text 'sleepy smiles' with the following.... much in the same way as the girl on the beach...so yes...this may well be a canvas number..

there we have it another finished number in my sketchbook. whether or not i put it to canvas is another question altogether. we shall see. someone suggested recently that i consider writing and illustrating a book with my artwork...sounds like a nice idea. its a long haul but maybe something i try to build up over the years.

ok so there we have it. its only good enough to take a place in my room. its not perfect, it has its faults and smudges and bits that could have been done better but thats why its a bit of me in art. i'm not perfect, i have smudges and faults and in all honesty lots of me could probably do with tweeking and making better in some ways. its an honest painting i guess whether you like it or not. hours of my time alone in my room, sometimes with music...sometimes just with my thoughts and my paintbox. it may not look like a lot of work has gone into it but sometimes the simplest packages have the most effort in their contents......anyway folks.....onto project number 2!

ok so my first test canvas is nearly done. made a few changes from the original but just really need to finish off her face and enter the text. oh and probably touch up the beach bit. what do we reckon folks? comments welcome....obviously if nobody looks at my blog then no worries. haha.

ok so yeh i know i messed up her face a bit but again these are only scrapbook ideas so i'm not that fussed. what i did with this is used wording that to me meant something very negative. and so i used those words in a positive image in my art, using bad feelings to create something good! well....whether or not its actually good is debatable but you get my point...haha!
